Saturday session will be held in the morning for both groups
 
This course is designed to take your plant knowledge one step further by empowering you to be able to place different plants into their larger families, to assist you to recognise similar characteristics within those families to make identification that much easier and to teach you new and varied techniques to be able to identify a broad spectrum of plants within this extensive plant kingdom.

Who will benefit from this course?
 
Anyone wanting to improve their plant identification and plant research skills, and feel more comfortable using the correct botanical names of plants. The course is both fun and mentally stimulating. A must for anyone in the landscaping industry.
 
Course Content
 
This interactive three-session course will give participants the tools with which to identify plants and assist them with an intelligent choice of plants. Students will visit a private garden and an indigenous nursery, and will also be taught the relevance of botanical names and, most important,  how to use books for effective plant research.
